Going to start machine quilting this piece of compositional cloth tomorrow.

Customer has seen it and approved. Spent some time this past week dying the back.

It is all basted and marked and ready to go in the machine the next block of time I have.

Woot Woot!

Small Art

I made close to 50 pieces of Small Art Postcards to go in a local shop.

Each has a loop on the back so they can be attached to a gift.

I also found some inexpensive business card holders so that they can be displayed on a shelf or desk. They will go into the local store by the end of this next week.

new studio coming

My new studio is coming along. Here are pictures of the front and side of the "old garage" with the new windows and one of the plywood floor underlay. Plus myhusband/builder mugging for the camera

Pieced Composition #2

I completed this tonight. It had been on the design wall for a long time basted and ready for quilting.

I had time over this Thanksgiving holiday to finally do the machine quilting.

I also submitted a bunch of stuff to the web designer to have her add to my website.

This feels really good and productive!

Ariell's quilt completed

Ariell's quilt is completed and ready to ship.

She wanted a purple piece. It measures 35" wide and 32.5" high.

These are shots of some of the details.

The background is hand dyed. Some of the circles are from hand dyed fabrics other are commercial cotton fabrics.

This quilt has been accepted into the Art Quilt Elements show.

The show will be at the Wayne Art Center in PA March 30 - May 13, 2012.

This quilt was one of 48 selected from a group of 665 that were entered.

I am very honored to be selected.
